Prior to joining Water Tower Research, she was Head of Business Development for The Benchmark Company, managing operations across the firm’s investment banking, equity research, and sales & marketing divisions. Previously, Joy was Director of Research and responsible for the direction and build out of equity research operations from inception for both Loop Capital Markets and Topeka Capital. She was also a co-founder and partner of Blue Water Capital, an independent bespoke research firm. Prior to her career in equity research management, Joy was a top-producing boutique equity salesperson for 20 years and she led institutional sales efforts for Soleil Securities, Tucker Anthony Sutro, and Punk, Ziegel & Company. She holds a BA in Art and Psychology from Hope College.
